Actually, I should say Nick did his part.  He’s a little obsessed with fireworks.

Ein gets stuck in the cat door at Dad's house.

Ein, however, is not a fan of fireworks, or gunfire for that matter.  He chose to stay inside, using the cat door as a window to see what was going on.
